Free Computer Classes at New Haven Public Library

Sessions are currently underway and will last through Thanksgiving, then resume in the spring. Classes take place every Thursday afternoon between 3–5 and are designed for individuals with little or no experience with computers.

Students will discover the basics of how a computer works plus
· how to use the Internet
· how to use key words to improve search results
· how to create and use an email account
· how to send attachments
· new trends in computing

Our tutors are experienced Yale student volunteers who can also answer your questions about MicroSoft Word and Excel software programs.
Class size is limited to 5 – 7 patrons so registration is necessary.
