PeaceJam Movie Nights Start Jan. 12

Peacejam, New Haven Friends, and the New Haven Bioregional Group will be offering a series of free movies every second Saturday at 7pm starting Jan. 12 at the New Haven Friends Meeting House on 225 East Grand Ave.
Jan. 12--Sicko, Michael Moore's documentary comparing US health care with that of Canada, the U.K., and France.
Feb. 9--The Future of Food, which investigates the unlabeled, patented, genetically engineered foods that have quietly filled U.S. grocery store shelves for the past decade. 88 min.
Mar. 8--The End of Suburbia, a tale of how our automobile-intensive way of life will slide to an end when world oil production peaks. 78 min.
Apr. 12--The Power of Community-how Cuba Survived Peak Oil explores the question: How did Cuba lose over half of its oil imports and still survive? 53 min.
