Governor Rell announces expanded and enhanced Shore Line East WEEKEND rail service starting on the Fourth of July, which will provide eight westbound trains to New Haven and eight eastbound trains to Old Saybrook, plus reverse stops at Guilford station throughout the day. The CT DOT plans to operate SLE rail service over weekdays, weekends and holidays throughout the year.
