Gender Moves at United Church Parish House in Oct. and Nov.
The public is invited to participate in a four-week exploration of gender through movement, inspired by the dance-making techniques of the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange. Come and move through stereotypes, old ideas, new ideas about gender and how they are reflected in the ways we move. No dance experience needed. Each workshop will include warm-ups, improvisation and creating short “dances." Pictures, shoes, costumes, ballroom dancing may be part of the explorations.
