On Saturday, May, 8, from 8:30 am to 5 pm the seventh annual Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association (CAPA) presents the CAPA-University professional development conference at Hartford Steam Boiler. Conference features the writing team of Drs. Henry Lee and Jerry Labriola, top literary agents representing a variety of genres, educational speakers and workshops for emerging and established fiction and nonfiction writers. Breakout sessions cover topics ranging from craft to marketing and publishing. Genres include mystery, young adult, speculative fiction, romance, women's fiction and poetry.
