Young Audiences Arts for Learning Connecticut, a VSA Affiliate’s mission is to integrate the arts into the lives of all children in educational and community settings throughout Connecticut. Apply by July 30.
Responsibilities: maintain/expand organization’s funding from private foundations; develop new sources of income from individuals, corporations, events, and governmental grants.
Maintain and expand funding database. Prepare grant proposals and reports. Develop, coordinate and implement a new high donor program. Implement the annual fundraising plan. Compose fundraising letters and appeals. Plan and execute successful fundraising and friend-raising events.
Qualifications: Demonstrated computer and data entry skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Proven track record in fundraising for nonprofits. College Degree. At least 5 years of nonprofit fundraising/development experience, preferably with significant foundation and high donor fundraising experience. Demonstrated ability to cultivate and respond to donors
