Proposal Writing Certification Class at New Haven Public Library
We are setting up the tables in preparation for our second all-day Subway Seminar on Proposal Writing, with former VP from the Foundation Center, Judith Margolin, which starts at 10 am this Thursday, Dec. 15. This seminar is sold out, but we are already taking registrations for another seminar on March 15.

6th annual CT Nonprofits Weeks at the Capitol February 13 – 17 and April 16 – 20, 2012
CT Nonprofits will convene
February 13-17 and April 16-20, 2012, at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.
100 CT nonprofit organizations have the opportunity to exhibit over the course of two weeks in this initiative organized by the CT Association of Nonprofits to educate policy makers and the public about the exceptional community services and resources provided by individual organizations in our state.

The Community Fund for Women and Girls and Quinnipiac River Fund, both funds of The Community Foundation for GNH, are currently accepting the following online applications for grants to fund programs that support Women and Girls and benefit the Quinnipiac River:

Agency on Aging of South Central CT, RSVP and “Gray is Green” programs are seeking volunteers age 55 + for a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Legacy of Environmental and Social Justice event at Yale Peabody Museum on Monday, Jan. 17, 10 am-4:30 pm.
