The Community
Foundation for Greater New Haven is partnering with its affiliate the Valley
Community Foundation, to offer a series of free training sessions in 2012 to
nonprofits serving the region. Topic and dates vary; additional workshops
will be added throughout the year.
Practical Skills and Strategies for Nonprofit
Supervisors--Thursday,
April 12, 9am-noon.
Succession Planning will be split into two workshops,
the first for Executive Directors only-- Monday, May 7, 8:30
am-12:30 pm. Second workshop is open to both Executive Directors and
Board Members--Monday, May 21, 4-8 pm.
Grant
Writing 101 is for
professional and volunteer grant writers with little to moderate experience--Thursday, May 17, 4-5:30
